National Datasets
Cooperative efforts between federal partners have transformed existing national datasets by linking them to the NFHP spatial framework. Providing these new data formats to the National Fish Habitat Partnership, partners, and stakeholders is progress toward building consistent data nationally and reduces duplicative efforts. Fish Habitat Partnership (FHP) Datasets
Data available to Fish Habitat Partnerships include data generated through national efforts and regionally-specific data provided through the efforts of the Fish Habitat Partnerships. This complementary approach allows regional partners to benefit from the national data compilation and preparation as well as additional data and information specific to the partnership region.

Note that the types of data on the list vary by partnership; an individual item may be a shapefile, .pdf, spreadsheet, database, etc. For more information on each item, click the "More Info" link to the right of each item.

Inland Assessment Data
Inland Habitat Condition Index (HCI) scores generated as the result of the 2010 National Assessment are available for download at several spatial scales (Ecological Drainage Units, HUC8, HUC12, and NHDPlus catchments) for the entire conterminous US. The inland assessment scores can be viewed/queried using the National Data Viewer.
The larger spatial scale datasets (EDU, HUC8, and HUC12) are attributed with a single aggregated Habitat Condition Index (HCI) for each spatial unit. The catchment-level datasets are attributed with a Local, and Network, and Cumulative HCI, and are also attributed with the disturbance variable data used to generate the indices for each catchment.
Catchment-level HCI score datasets are also available clipped to state boundaries for all 50 states.
Coastal Assessment Data
Coastal Habitat Condition Index (HCI) scores generated as the result of the 2010 National Assessment are being distributed as a single (zipped) ESRI shapefile for the entire coastline of the conterminous United States. The dataset includes the four subcomponent habitat condition indices, the final cumulative disturbance index, and all of the variables used to generate the indices. This dataset can be viewed/queried using the National Data Viewer.
